I've definitely lost all battles for the ethical and ecological usage of LLM/AI when colleagues happily create AI songs for whatever random, completely pointless, reason. The enforced usage of LLM for work likely also diminishes the personal responsibility, I guess. The cost of climate change is lost on too many, even as the countries are hit directly by them. I suspect it's the catastrophic aspect that makes it seem too "abstract". Or they just don't care about the world burning, because "it'll not affect them" directly right at this moment. And none of them care about the ethical aspect of data. #AI
