@babble_endanger@freeradical.zone if you didn't get an answer yet (idk, i didn't see one) then "passkeys" are a different thing from "security keys" like yubikey basically idea is a lot like a security key, a key, but kept by the system, and unlocked by having your device check you're you, usually by checking your normal unlock/login method, and you might be able to sync between devices if you're lucky and the credential manager you use supports that and it's cryptographically tied to the provider so can't be phished (but it's not the only way to avoid that ofc) i had such a hard time avoiding rambling about hating them, so many parts i dislike oh and i'm not aware of problems w yubikey, still as good as ever, afaik
