@KeithAmmann@dice.camp I went rogue here and believe it strongly. I don't think Ranger is overshadowed in combat at all. I mean it is a weak expert but it is quite capable in combat.

@KeithAmmann@dice.camp I picked Rogue since the question was being overshadowed in combat. In general Rogues are good level 1-3, and at level 4 and above start to experience pain, dedicated martials come into their own when they get their first feat and will out-perform rogues from that point onward. It only gets worse as the levels rise. This can be mitigated by giving the rogue custom magic items. But that is copium.
