@eta@gotosocial.i.eta.st @hugh@social.crablab.uk yes, but it's rare there's a queue, and you just show it to the attendant who waves you through. Sometimes that's very slightly faster than the gateline queue. You do still need to book (free) reserved seats on some trains but you don't need to use machines for that.
