@geerlingguy@mastodon.social I’m not sure how I feel about this. The discussion made me think about why I even value YT videos, to learn/discover new things, I’m pretty sure I could read a transcript and still get what I need. In that sense, generated narration feels acceptable. On the other hand, I also feel a bit cheated. I wonder whether it would feel better if that were disclosed up front? I remember your concerns about stolen identity and impersonation, which I find disturbing and dangerous.
