Seeing someone mention travel management software reminded me of a terrible experience I had back in the day. I was the European-based manager for a USA based global Fortune 300. I did a *lot* of flying and hotels. I realised my expenses hadn't been paid in a while so calculated just how much was outstanding. Around £6000! So told my boss (the CIO) that I was going nowhere until they were paid. Paid two days later. I quit a couple of months after that, which sent the share price falling the same day and the company went bust six months after.
