@ChazBrenchley@wandering.shop My maternal grandmother made things like piecrust and I think tea biscuits (there's a Canadian term for you) using cream rather than lard or butter. Not runny cream, but big dollops off the top of the pan or pail where it was sitting souring, waiting for her to get around to churning.
