More than 130 leading scholars and public figures are risking arrest under the Terrorism Act after writing an open letter to the Court of Appeal concerning #PalestineAction. Over 1,000 members of the public have signed the letter so far since its release.
The letter, dated 24th April 2026, simply reads: “We oppose genocide, we support Palestine Action.”

@Geri@mastodon.online Did I read somewhere that it's only an offence to show support for proscribed organisation in a public place or have I imagined that? Seems like the kind of loophole that our friend Darth Mahmood would close pretty quickly.
