@ahltorp@mastodon.nu it's the American Dream dontchaknow. And while I'm sure that there are many people who are perfectly happy with renting, unaffordable home prices cause rents to rise too -- increased competition. Forget home ownership -- even being able to rent more than a walk-in closet is becoming an unrealistic dream even outside the world-class metropoli.
