So-called eco-communities can be even far-right people, even with solar panels. And others, really practicizing solarpunk, did completely normal stuff that needed no label before. They were interested in ecology, climate crisis, and change.
One point in that essay, the anthropocentrism, was also my problem. So many texts were nice fiction but I wouldn't like to live in such a world because of that

And then I saw movements that reminded me of the 1968s, the late 1970s, when people handcopied their tutorials for breeding sheep and sewing clothes. Nothing new. A bit self-centered. For in the early 1980s, these young people used their rage to invent a new political party: the Greens! The left their sheep and made politics, protested on the streets. So I'm quite near to the conclusions of that article:
