This is the right-wing version of calling something political, like calling things woke because there's a gay character?
Making conscious decisions about what you put into your art does not make it "politics" in my book. At least this way of using the term washes out the meaning of actual politics, which is always done in groups and as an organized activity. A writer making a short story is not engaged politics, not directly at least. Even when they intend to affect politics
