@foundseed@spore.social @alxd@writing.exchange Rage is aimed at what you want to leave behind. Rage has nothing to contribute to an utopia. So I don't think there a place for rage in the solarpunk vision. There is probably a place for it in the solarpunk movement. But personally, I think solarpunk is more a movement of imagining and building, than of raging. Heck, like most folks nowadays, I'm not short on rage. But people are losing the vision of a society that doesn't hurt. Of a sustainable, just, good life.

  • @foundseed@spore.social @alxd@writing.exchange And it's hard to strive for something that you can't imagine the end state of. One can't build a better society on "anti". What we are seeing right now is a lot of people saying "not this". But without somewhere to go together, the result is mostly just a state of shock and pain. Without a direction, there's no movement.
