Gotta say, I'm regularly impressed by the quality of @qgis. Throwing the several gigabytes of TIFF files that is a high-resolution elevation scan of the entire world at it makes it think for a minute but as soon as it has loaded all that it's buttery smooth in displaying my frantic panning around. So yeah, kudos to the engineering behind QGIS and all of its dependencies which likely play a big part for why the experience is so nice. :blobcatheart:
