Sad Update: I have been systematically denied of housing Yeah so, got the lease, read through it and was ready to sign but I have hit quite the wall. Because I have been out of work since 2024, my bank statements are not the most secure looking thing and the landlord requested that a surety page be signed by my parents to ensure the rent will be paid if I cannot. Unsurprisingly, but still devastatingly painful, both my parents refused and I am still under their roof. I had got myself soo excited only to face such a tragic disappointment that my thoughts of falling off the balcony began to surface after years of silence. I'm still sad and processing it all, but thank you all for sticking though with me. I will continue saving and your continued support is deeply appreciated <3 Thank you all so much!!!
