@LizzieSpeaks@lor.sh and monstera is amazingly manageable if you split it every other year. I have given away three monstera children and kept my "monther" under 2.5 meters tall over 10 years through careful trimming and replanting. If you want them big, they will be, otherwise it's in your hands.
