@jcc@mastodonapp.uk @haven4books@disabled.social Yeah from my IT troubleshooting days, step 2 is gathering data to see if there actually IS a problem or if you are experiencing a feature as a problem.
Which is why I wondered allowed. I wasn’t being snide or snarky. I literally don’t know.

Some of the things we are seeing are not intentional. They are still problematic and need fixed though. Other things look like they were developed with good intent but are being exploited by bad-actors. The 100% fix for that is to kick out the bad-actors STAT. However, some tweaks could be made to make them harder to abuse.
