@mikagrml @grmlproject the current release boots with text visible but then goes completely dark on the current #Lenovo #Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen14. Didn't have time to play with options etc yet, but if that rings a bell on something I should try.
I am probably one of the first people with that machine globally so I'd be happy helping to debug and test a fix

@RichiH@chaos.social @grmlproject@hachyderm.io is there any change when booting with the nomodeset template in GRUB (and maybe also set gfxpayload=keep)? Is network functional so that you could check with SSH what's in the logs?
