@zachuorice@social.linux.pizza Indeed! I want to make sure I get into something where I am happy, first and foremost. And tbh, I am not quite sure what that is yet. I really enjoy web development (front end) so I may explore that as a new career path but I also want to focus on some personal/passion projects as well. I also am interested in security, particularly web site security, so I am just getting started learning more in that area too.

@nobushia@social.linux.pizza I feel that! I'm five years into my career officially. Back when I started I really just wanted to work any software development I could, and sort of "settled" for web. As I've started to grow again, I am getting excited to try more boutique frontend web development stuff using Next.js with a WordPress backend. As well as working on a hardware-based advertising idea. I don't think I would have been able to decide what to try without the foundational skills I've built over the years.
