@zachuorice@social.linux.pizza I felt like this in a past life at a large software company. I wore many hats and was often consulted with on many topics. It got to a point where I grew tired of helping everyone else' career and one day I decided to quit. I then decided I wanted to go back to school and explore the next chapter of my life. It was scary and stressful, but leaving that company was the best thing I ever did and I am excited for what comes next.

@nobushia@social.linux.pizza thanks for sharing! I'm glad to hear you're pursuing more exciting things 🙂 Right now I'm just trying to find the energy to pursue some personal projects in my off time. Build something that's my own to keep my skills sharp. You're definitely right that career atrophies a bit when you're just doing a little bit of everything for everyone.
