@clickhere@mastodon.ie It probably varies since we're in different locales, but I really do wait until end of May before disturbing too much of last year.
You really want it to be warm enough for long enough for all the little bugs to wake up for the new year.
I'm mostly commenting because last year I think I mowed too early and regretted it x)

@glitchcake@tech.lgbt Thank you! Yeah, that's a good point - I'm in Ireland, so although it's temperate and relatively mild, the idea of letting things warm up definitely sounds like a good starting point.
