@BenAveling@mastodon.ie How do you know how many spies you haven’t identified are left, though? (I kid, but I’m sure they had clever ways to know.)

That is a fair question. And I guess you never really know. Reasons they slowly became confident that they had cleared out every last agent included what their double agents were being told, as well as what they were seeing in the Enigma decrypts. @masek@infosec.exchange @oscherler@tooting.ch
