Cutting Amazon out of my life has improved my life a lot.
I now buy books from a local shop lead by a huge sci-fi and manga nerd. She's recommended so many great books I never would have found otherwise.
I try to buy as many things as possible locally, but sadly that's often impossible (or wildly worse) now.
But when I do buy online, I buy from smaller independent shops specializing on the thing I'm buying.

That's the thing: It's actually really easy People are lazy and are sadly willing to turn a blind eye to the fact that convenience for them comes at the cost of someone else being exploited All so Bezos can get even more disgustingly rich
