(2/?) @uriel > what would be my contribution? Asking for precision every time In some cases, you might be able to suggest specific ways to make the spec more precise. Based on your clearly extensive experience with protocol standards. But even pointing out specific places where the spec lacks precision could be way more helpful than you think. Am I right in thinking this @evan@cosocial.ca and @darius@social.tinysubversions.com?=

(3/3) I'm not intending to pressure you. If you're not keen, or just don't have time, that's totally fine. I'm just saying please don't hold back because you're worried you have nothing to offer. Because it seems very clear to me that you do. Also there are many ways of participating; https://www.w3.org/wiki/SocialCG ... and if you got involved, there would be no obligation to put any minimum amount of time and energy into it.

@strypey@mastodon.nzoss.nz @evan@cosocial.ca well,  I am not finished yet with my software, so maybe I will discover some other ambiguity to get crazy with... ok, if you say I'm welcome to sound very pedantic, I can. Besides, my software is here: https://git.keinpfusch.net/loweel/aktor so far the federation seems to work, now I need to fix bugs, nd check against other software like misskey, by example.
