@strypey@mastodon.nzoss.nz @ByronCinNZ@mastodon.nzoss.nz Its funny, there kind of is a VOIP standard. Its called (S)RTP & is what the WebRTC protocol exposes.
All the videoconferencing apps use it.
The issue is that (S)RTP connections need to be initialized, & the way that's handled isn't standard.
