To me publishing software without source code is an ridiculous as distributing food without a list of ingredients. Although Source Available would cover that. (Too many food companies get away with listing functions, like "colour" or "emulsifier", rather than the actual ingredients fulfilling that function. But that's part of a whole different set of gripes...)
