I just looked it up, there were 205 murders in England & Wales last year, and 50,000ish assaults over all (I think? I've an idea I'm reading that number wrong)
Wonder how many of the victims were Muslim? I'm guessing, like, a a good few, but I've very little idea, and I don't think I could find out by searching BBC News, you know?
So, why this one?

@ohmrun@indieweb.social And, I can't see it now, but I scrolled past a post an hour or so back which noted that because they've raised the terror threat level, that gives them the perfect excuse to cancel marches for six months (apparently the current threat level is "high risk in the next six months", which I hadn't really twigged) ( @Geri@mastodon.online might have been one of yours?)
