They are just as bad. Or more accurately they are the same thing. They are both classical liberals and a classic liberal democracy is not viable. Capitalists with free reign. Given the power of data aggregation, modeling, think tanks and llm human voters are a solved puzzle. At this point they are just testing the models. “Says here we can do x and that will only move 3% of the electorate”. “REALLY!!” “Yep”. The whole thing has to burn and we need some ground up reconstruction of our political system. Otherwise it’s just a dystopian cyberpunk future.
