@Kerplunk@mastodon.scot That is admirable, but for many people it’s not an option. ”sideload […] mostly from FDroid” seems to imply that you’re running Android (Google), and that you are running applications from an ”official” app store as well. Are you? Here in Sweden, you are basically locked out of many government and private services if you don’t use either the Apple or Google app stores. BankID, the banks’ common authentication system, only works through those.
