@rabbit@cathode.church in addition to gel being more expensive I found it eventually started causing skin irritation I am on .25 cc of 200mg/mL. Much more effective at managing consistent hormone levels and this is the minimum needed to suppress menses for me. If you're used to the daily testosterone cycle, having a weekly cycle can be an adjustment, but I prefer it over the previous daily crashes I had. I also prefer injections for being tidier and less risk of cross application to other people and to pets. Even with a low dose, you can experience vaginal atrophy. Many people including your medical care provider may encourage you to take topical estrogen to deal with this. The dysphoria of estrogen is not worth ten years of increasing UTI and BV and yeast infections; increasing pain biking, increasing pain in intimacy, if avoiding others' mistakes is worth something to you. Since adding topical estradiol it has been much rarer to get UTI again and interest and experience of intimacy is improved.
