Social transition protip: If there are people in your life who misgender you by accident but really do want to do better, humans can also be trained with a spray bottle.

Don’t surprise them with it, obviously. Explain what you’re going to do ahead of time and keep the spray bottle in plain sight.

@beccadax@soincredibly.gay We used a pool noodle ("the gender noodle") to smack the accidental speaker on the top of the head (mainly during game night around the dining room table).
