@xenogon I switched to Manjaro with xfce from UbuntuStudio a few years ago and I've been pretty happy with it. It has the right balance of ease of use and simplicity with ability to customize and performance for me. I make all my music on it. I use Vital a lot and it is pretty easy to keep updated with aur.
