@aparrish@friend.camp I have seen this dynamic distinctly in nearly every part of my life from early elementary school. There are sort of two ways to look at it depending how charitable I feel. 1. It's unwillingness to swimming against the zeitgeist, for fear of ostracization. 2. It is "acceptable" protest, with enough veneer to be read as tacit consent; they think, maybe rightly, anything more will result in even less impact. I guarantee LLM users only read genAI summaries of those 8k words.
