Joey Santore really tooks the words right out of my mouth there saying that it's unbelievable how people don't seem to understand that roots break up the soil and help the water infiltrate. Like, anyone who has ever sown a bean should have noticed that you have to water it less once it has a well-established root system because you get less evaporation and more in-depth water retention. But those urbanist ghouls can't even get the most basic, kindergarten-level stuff right.
