@stephen@stephenwuebker.social Yeah, it's still a big deal for people who make networking equipment (though I sort of expect them to try for an injunction or to otherwise see the ban revised), but for consumers it'll be a while before it matters. (Though if it stays as-is, it will matter eventually: basically no consumer phone, laptop, or access point really qualifies according to these rules, not to mention Thread / Zigbee / Z-Wave devices that contribute to a mesh, etc.)

@aschmitz@ostatus.lardbucket.org Oh I had forgotten about thread/z-wave/zigbee stuff... AppleTV (thread), Ring and other alarms (z-wave), Philips Hue lights (zigbee), etc. Good thing all the tech billionaires sucked up to this administration just to get stabbed in the back. SMH
