@stephen@stephenwuebker.social The ban affects two things: starting in 60 (well, now 59) days, you cannot use federal money to buy routers (but see below) produced outside the US, and no such devices will receive new FCC approvals - but that doesn't affect existing models, which remain approved, so no real effect for at least 3-6 months on the consumer side if this even stays in place. However, "router" in this Notice is any consumer device that moves packets between networks, so basically any networked device.
