Through my IRL job I talk to a number of experts in various fields. All have been telling me since December of an incoming downturn.
Development consultants have seen property developers stop development processes in their tracks for the past year because they no longer think they can afford to build

Is there any particular reason the sales have slowed so drastically beyond "nobody has the money"? Like have construction costs skyrocketed or something?
