@tphinney@typo.social @kai@typo.social just to be clear, I didn’t pretend to remove the word “license” or “buy” from the process. My toughts about using the word “investment” are related to how we talk about the value (benefits) of getting the rights to use fonts

@marsidesino@typo.social @kai@typo.social I would love to see the whole process as you envision it, and then afterwards see how it played out in terms of how customers responded, and what understanding they took away from it! (That said, you literally wrote “What about saying “invest” instead of “buy” when you pay for a font license?” ... which to me said you would be removing the word “buy.”)
