I kinda want to replace my old Synology NAS, but the hardware and drive prices are wild right now.

@orangeacme@fosstodon.org Whenever I get a low memory warning, I take a look around the web at RAM modules for sale. Then the prices scare me so much I close the entire browser process. Which admittedly does solve the problem ;)

@orangeacme@fosstodon.org mine is fourteen years old now, so I have the same problem as you. Current prices are ruining my plans to replace the NAS this year.
