As I migrate to this #GoToSocial instance I wanted to verify ✅ the link to this profile from my Mastodon profile but it's not currently supported. I found this issue that is discussing potential implementations. However, I wanted something now. Turns out you can just write raw HTML in you GoToSocial profile description and Mastodon will happily read the rel="me" from links. So I put in Migrating from <a href="https://fosstodon.org/@shom" rel="me">@shom</a> This profile is now verified on @shom and hopefully this tidbit helps someone (left a comment on the issue as well).
