@hp@mastodon.tmm.cx how is paying for internet not renting my empowerment to use computer in freedom of web browsing? I could simply read mans or source code from floppies

@vadim@m.vrutkovs.eu wow, mind blown. You are so right. Renting SaaS software is EXACTLY the same as having to actually pay for beer in the context of free software! That's what they meant with "free as in freedom, not as in beer" Thank you so much for explaining my philosophy to me! You are a very big and smart boy!

@vadim@m.vrutkovs.eu @hp@mastodon.tmm.cx this is bit silly, there is some ongoing infra cost with internet connection that will need to be covered by, most likely, money, but for an llm, it's quite feasible you already have enough to run something decent, they just don't give you the model
