Went to the BonsaiFest in Fedieral Way today with two of my grandkids. It's free, although you do still need to pay admission to the (larger) rhododendron garden next door. > https://pacificbonsaimuseum.org/events/bonsai-fest-2026/ Besides the usual exhibits there were bonsai club bonsais, demonstrations, and more. If you are in the #Seattle area and need something to do tomorrow (the last day) I'd recommend it. Some pics follow. Edit: It's in Federal Way, not Des Moines.
