"Hear Me" Is there anyone there to hear my plea? I know I'm not who you want me to be. Take a seat, stop and listen. Let me shine as much as you glisten. Don't assume what isn't there. Don't roll your eyes, just stop and stare. Everyone wants to be heard. I won't be silenced like vision blurred. Don't run away because you disagree. Let our thoughts and minds run free. All I want is to say my piece, And let it reach you without cease. I don't want to start a war. I just want an open door. So when you start to feel uptight, Stop and think, is this right? Because in the end we both feel, And a peaceful talk begins to heal. #poetry #personal #writing
