I was banned from !europe@feddit.org for pointing out the similarities and historical connection between Zionism and Nazism. Germany has been particularly aggressive in its attacks on speech and that has been reflected in the moderation of communities on feddit.org

I didn't read it, just wanted to point out this immediately borders on violating German law. You can't for example compare the holocaust to anything. That'd be a legal offense. Depending on how it's worded and the details. And I don't know if there's a good way to deal with it. We could try to abolish German law. But that's hard work and will take quite some time... As long as it's there, it's a thing... Dunno if that warrants a ban, but certainly a deletion. I think they're based in Austria now(?!) law there is a bit different, but it's complicated anyway.
