People fell for the idea of "centralized anarchist leadership", I think plausibility is more about whether people can be convinced something is true than if the idea can even reflect reality. Also some people think of the flotilla as "those pirate people", and don't know or have any interest in knowing more, which is a shame. I actually had an idea for some promo type material I was calling "Ooh, so scawy!", with things like pictures of food being handed out or community cleanup efforts. At the bottom would be "They are an anarchist! Ooh, so scawy!", because so many people have no idea what anarchists stand for that I thought it might be a neat way to share ideas in a playful way.
