@sovietfish@todon.eu I will admit that my knowledge of where best to use umlauts in Dutch is at A1 level without having the privilege of autocorrect on my phone 🤣
I think I've most noticed it with an e following and i and the two should be a separate sound, e.g. België en patiënt.
