Some people don't understand fanatical dedication to a cause. It's mostly people who have never sent their lives seeing abject poverty, or living in poverty. In general they value comfort more than ideas. Afghanistan shows how a group of highly motivated people can thwart both major super powers agendas. Why do we think Iran, a bigger and more sophisticated country will be any different.
