Sorry for reposting this excellent article, but Ian Dunt hits the nail on the head with his closing paragraphs, devoted to the need for immediate electoral reform. Here's a challenge to Labour. If you deliver meaningful electoral reform, whether STV or a workable implementation of PR, in time for the 2029 election I will promise you my vote in that election as a thank you.
