@vnkr@mastodon.social What exactly don't you understand about what I'm saying? Are you saying that the blog article says that they don't provide a way for AI services to access their customer's mail? Yes, it's optional. But many people, at least those around me, don't (yet) realize the dangers of AI. They see it as something fantastic. Fastmail should protect customers from mistakes they might regret later. Just like no longer allowing unsecured ports for SMTP/IMAP. Fastmail claims to be a privacy-focused service. That isn't evident here. That is what I'm trying to say. You're talking to a Fastmail user from day one here (= 25 years).

  • @marc_eu@veganism.social @vnkr@mastodon.social Its API for your AI. Same way as they offer you IMAP for example. To be honest I dont want to have limited options just because there are stupid people.
