@tompearce49@mastodon.scot are you sure it's a quote engraved on the Scottish Parliament building?
I find it unlikely that a quote from an American president would be on the wall that mostly commemorates Scottish writing. I guess there's also a verse from Psalms, though. Not written by a Scot!

@evan@cosocial.ca Pretty certain as I took the photo (always assuming that my memory isn't failing me!) It is always risky to rely on my memory being accurate nowadays...!
