I've been finding big scratches/scars on my right outer calf, and assumed my wife was getting well-deserved revenge as we slept. Today, I realized that I've been doing it myself - while walking my daughter to school, walking my bicycle next to me. I've been hitting myself in the leg with the pedals without realizing! Mystery solved. :)
